Oct. 10, 1953 - Second Nobel Award goes to Britain too. Professor Krebs receives Medical prize: Britain won her second Nobel award yesterday when the Caroline Medical Institute gave the medical prize jointly to Professor Hans Albert Krebs, of Sheffield University and Dr. Fritz Lippman, of Harvard Medical School, Boston. Last week Sir Winston Churchil was awarded the Literature prize. Each prize is worth about £12, 000. Professor Krebs and Dr. Lippman will share theirs.
