Hare Krishna ceremony in temple at Ornex, France
Feb. 21, 1972 - Krishna is Conquering Europe: The indian religious movement Hare Krishna already counts about 500 million fellow-believers all over the world and now is also trying to conquer Europe. Near Geneva, in the French village of Ornex they installed a temple for their missionaries who work in Switzerland. But in Geneva they are in trouble with the local authorities who banned them from the streets, accusing them of being too noisy with their songs, music and predications. So Geneva, is the only place with Moscow, where the Krishna people are not allowed to practise their religious mission.
