Aug. 08, 1945 - Donna Rides Tall At Two: The prizes proudly displayed on the living room wall number no fewer than 8 trophies and 65 rosettes. You might think she's a young horsewoman with the potential of being in the Liz Edgar or Caroline Bradley class. Indeed she is, but the startling fact is that little Donna Greenwood from Ossett, Yorks, is just two years old. Proud mother Wendy Greenwood, 23, believes Donna to be Britain's youngest horsewoman. She first sat on a horse when she was just seven months old and showed no signs of fear. She was perfectly at ease on horseback long before she could walk or talk. Since then Donna has galloped off with awards for leading rein, fancy dress, turnout and bonny pony. Donna and her beloved pony Sandy are inseparable friends, and she loves to lend a hand with mucking out the stables and saddling up. Now Mrs. Greenwood has bought her a larger Welsh pony for her to ride when she's more experienced. Photo shows Tally-ho! Galloping minor Donna Greenwood with Sandy
