Jan. 01, 1957 - Italy's wonder horse in Britain, Ribot is exercised and fed: The world's most famous racehorse Italian owned Ribot is now settling down at the Stud in the New market stables owned by Lord Derby. American owners offered 50, 000 for Ribot - but the offer was refused. Ribot was born in Milan and will eventually be housed in a new stud being built for him at Olgiata, 10 miles north of Rome.
