Jan. 01, 1957 - Italy's wonder horses in Britain, Ribot is exercises and fed: The world's most famous racehorse Italian owned Ribot is now settling down at the Stud in the New market stables owned by Lord Derby. American owners offered 50, 000 for Ribot - but the offer was refused. The stud fee of this fabulous horse if, 200 - and even at that remarkable fee-dozens of applications have been refused because his program and time for the first two months period and two following seasons have been completely sold out. Ribot was born in Milan and will eventually be housed in a new stud being built for him at Olgiata, 10 miles north of Rome. The horse is in this country by arrangement with the Italian Ministry of Agriculture because the Italian State exercises control over the movement of Italian owner's horses.
