Mar. 03, 1957 - Sundew Wins The Grand national At 20-1: Fred Winter, the champion- steeplechase jockey, won the 1957 Grand National at Liverpool today on Mrs. Geoffrey Kohn's Sundew, after leading the field from start to finish. This was its third attempt in the Grand National. Photo shows Hart Royal and his jockey P. Pickford (seen in centre in black stripe) and on roight Rendez Vous III and his jockey A. Freeman also come to grief at the first fence
