Mar. 03, 1959 - Oxo Wing the Grand National Only Four Finish: The world's most famous Steeplechase - the Grand National - was won at Aintree, Liverpool today by Oxo, ridden by M> Scudamore, with Wyndburgh (T. Brookshaw), second, and Mr. What (T. Taaffe), third. Only four of the thirty-four runners finished the course. Photo Shows Oxo, ridden by M. Scudamore, taking the last fence during the race today.
