Mar. 21, 1959 - Oxo wins the Grand National. Only four finish.: The world's most famous Steeplechase the Grand National - was won at Aintree, Liverpool today by Oxo ridden by M. Scudamore, with Wyndburgh (T. Brookshaw), second, and Mr. What (T. Taaffe), third. Only four of the thirty-four runners finished the course. Photo shows Oxo, ridden by M.
