Mar. 31 Midgets Horses for the horse of the year show. It is the very latest in Status symbols - tiny Falabellas horses from Argentina, which stand only waist high. Originally bred in Argentina, the breed is now to England. Now Mrs Shirley Marler, of the Manor House, Weston Underwoos, Olney Buckinghamshire. The daughter-in-law of the City property man Mr Lesle Marler, is breeding them from three Mr and a Stallion at £400 a foal. So two of the World's smallest horses will be on parade for the first time at the Horse of the Year show, Empire Pool, Wembley, from the 2nd-7th of October. Photo shows Mrs Marler with the two Falabellas that will be seen at the Horse of the Year show, Her daughter 2 1/2 year-old Serena-Roce has a ride on Mrs Skew and a foal Delhi being led by Mrs Marler at the farm today
