Aug. 08, 1964 - Tim Brookshaw rides again. The determination of the Former Champion hunt jockey.: Former Champion National Hunt Jockey Tim Brookshaw - who broke his back in a fall at Aintree - eight months ago - was to be seen riding around his farm an Shropshire yesterday - on Dusty - his daughter's gentle pony - even though he had been told by doctors six months ago that he would never ride again. Yesterday's effort was the result of sheer determination. He had fitted up a rope tied to a girder in his cowshed - and heisted himself on to the back of the pony. He said that this was the biggest hurdle he had ever had to clear'. Photo shows Tim Brookshaw goes riding - on his farm in Shropshire - yesterday
