Jun. 15, 1964 - Great day for Paddy O'Farrell. Yesterday was a great day fro steeplechase jockey Paddy O'Farrell who was crippled for life when he fell in the Grand National last March. He rode out of hospital for the first time since he broke his back, and he saw his six -year-old daughter Geraldine receive her first communion at the English Martyrs Catholic Church in York. 33-year-old Paddy hopes to be out of hospital for good in about a month.
