1974 - Internaitonal Ladies race at Kempton park: Several Europen lady jockeys took part in today's Goya International Stakes (Ladies Race) at Kempton Park. It was Britain's first international race for lady jockeys. The race was won by Irish trained Onward Tar, ridden by Rosemary Rooney, with Prince Gourmet, ridden by Brooke Sanders, 2nd. Ingrid Trautman, of Switzerland, was 3rd, on Springs'. Photo shows the lady jockeys on their way to the paddock, prior to today's race at Kempton Park
