1974 - International Ladies race at Kempton Park.: Several European lady jockeys took part in today's Goya International Stakes (Ladies Race) at Kempton Park. It was Britain's first international race for lady jockeys. The race was won by Irish trained Onward Tarce, ridden by Rosemary Rooney, with Prince Gourmet, ridden by Brooke Sanders, 2nd. Ingrid Trautman, of Switzerland was 3rd on Springe'. Photo shows after winning the race Rosemary Rooney changed into a trouser suit, and is seen with a racing saddle, which was presented to her by Goya, the race's sponsor
