May 08, 1960 - Acton By-Election Candidate Pays his Deposit: Anti-Common Market Candidate, Mr. Harold Alexander Fox, part owner of the Lady Jane Carnaby Street Fashions- Outside Ealing Town Hall yesterday after paying his deposit for the Acton by-election. He brought with him two jazz trumpeters and six Carnaby Street model girls carrying Union Jacks, but after a few blows on the trumpets, Town Hall Officials warned them that they will be moved by the police for causing a breach of the peace
