Harry Secombe with two Children of Courage, London

Jan. 09 December 18th 1975 Children of Courage awards Woman's Own presented their Children of Courage awards at a service in Westminster Abbey today. The awards, which were presented by Mrs. Harold Wilson to children from all over the United Kingdom who have shown outstanding courage during the past year. The children have shown courage in many different ways, including saving children from drowning and burning, struggling through the African jungle after a plane crash and surviving a night-long ordeal lost on a mountaintop.
