Sep. 09, 1975 - Harry Secombe Rehearses for his starring Role in the Forthcoming Comedy Schippel': Fresh from a family holiday in Majorca, singing comedian, Harry Secombe was today rehearsing for his starring role in the comedy Schippel, which has a preliminary season at the Opera House, Manchester, from September 23, before opening at the Prince of Wales Theater, London on October 8th. The play is set in Germany in 1913 and concerns the predicament facing an elite male-voice quartet when the only eligible replacement tenor is the rough and ready local plumber.
