Hattie sings to them nostalgically while they drink toasts to her beauty. All is well until an apple rolls down the table and out of sight, then Hattie herself starts to fall, she tries desperately to save herself but thrusting a leg over the table, but it is too late and she ends spread eagled on the table, her wreath awry, but still gamely finishing her song.
