Nov. 11, 1975 - Hedwig Courths-Mahler died 25 years ago: On November 26th 1950, the German writer Hedwig Courths-Mahler died in Rottach-Egern, Upper Bavaria. She was born in 1867 in Nebra and started writing when she was seventeen, In the course of her life she wrote over 200 novels in which she demonstrated the life within a fairytale world of the upper class towards the large masses of the working class. The number of copies about 27 millions as well as the translation of her books in many languages tell their own tale
