1978 - The Biggest Key Collector In The World The biggest key collector in the world comes from Munich in Germany and is owned by 75 year old Heinrich Pankofer. He has collected over 1000 keys and locks, many of them very rare and valuable. His collection includes coffin and widower keys, grace keys and guilded chamberlain keys. The smallest object in their extraordinary collection is a five millimetre wrought iron key to the former front gate of the National Theatre in Munich, which Mr. Pankofer dug out of the ruins in 1944. He also has the key which opened the secret drawer of the linen cupboard of Ludwig II a King of Germany, where he kept his intimate letters.
