Jul. 14, 1953 - Son of Indian Rajah on forged cheque charge, his family worth millions'; Twenty one year old Muthiah Ramaswamy - son of a Millionaire Indian Rajah appeared at the Old Bailey yesterday - pleeding Not Guilty to charges of obtaining shoes and suits with forged cheques taken from his best friend's cheque book. So wealthy was his family the Judge was told that he could have almost unlimited money for the asking'. He had50, 000 in shares worth about5, 000 a year.
