Jun. 06, 1954 - Thirty three men from the Yorkshire coalfields were guests aboard Sir Bernard and Lady Docker's luxury yacht, Shemara, for a cruise round the Isle of Wight on Saturday. The men drank champagne and brandy, ate salmon and cold phesant.Lady Docker, wearing slacks and a sweater, danced the hornpipe. The miners had been invited by Sir Bernard and hos wife to visit their yacht as the result of a visit they made to the Walter Haigh Colliery near Leeds.
