1957 - The Queen's cousin goes rockin'g at a Fantastic party on an Underground train: The smart set went Underground last night end rocked non-stop around the Inner Circle route from Charing Cross to Charing Cross. They skiffled and rocked their way through Euston, Kings Cross, Farringdon, and Edgware-road, and the price of the round tour was two shillings. Thats what each of the 75 guests including the Queen's cousing, the Hon. Gerald Lazcelles, paid for their tickets. It was a crazy mixed-up party given by 29 year old Jonathan Routh, the ex-Cambridge undergraduate, who claims to earn his money as a professional hoaxer. Each guest carried a bottle of wine and a cardboard cup. Photo shows the Hon.
