Jan. 01, 1957 - Dr. Adams Case Continues At Eastbourne. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred John Hullett: The hearing of the case against Dr. John Bodkin Adams the Eastbourne Doctor - continued today at the Eastbourne Magistrate's Court. Dr. Adams is accused of murdering 81 year old Mrs, Edith Morrell in November 1950. The prosecuting Counsel - Mr. Walford Stevenson Q.C. said in Court that Dr. Adams had pointed three of his patients with drugs - they being Mrs. Morell, Mr. Alfred John Hullett a wealthy 71 year old invalid - and Mr. Hullett's widow Mrs. Gertrude Hullett - who was 50 when she died last July - four months after her husband.She left 37, 000.
