Aug. 08, 1959 - Billedsentralen Oslo: Steven Rockefeller and Anne Marie Rasmussen, twenty-one, daughter of Norwegian grocer Kristian Rasmussen of Soegne near Kristiansand, whose engagement was made public to-day, photographed at Anne Marie's home. The wedding is to take place in the old church of Soegne on August 22nd and, if possible, the bridgeroom's family will come over from the US. The romantic story started back in 1956 when Anne Marie, who wanted to see the world after she had finished secondary school, went to New York and took up domestic work at the Rockefeller home in New York. There she met its young Rockefeller and they made friends. She later returned to Norway and he went into military service. A week ago Mr. Rockefeller arrived in Oslo where Anne Marie met him. They bought a motorcykle and went down to Soegne to see her parents. Since then Mr. Rockefeller has been staying as a guest at the Rasmussen home
