1959 - Mother Reunited With Her Baby Son: Two year old Trevor Fowler filled the house with excited cries, when he saw his mother, Mrs. Amy Fowler, for whom he had been pining since she vanished two weeks ago, when she returned to their home in Abbey-driven Luton yesterday. So ended the disappearance of Mrs. Fowler. On Saturday the BBC broadcast an appeal to Mrs. Fowler to come forward. The family doctor said: If she is not found within 48 hours and the child still will not eat, I will have to put him into hospital to save his life'. Trevor's father, 30-year old Mr. Harry Fowler said: I'm worried that he will die of a broken heart'. Mrs. Fowler read about Trevor pining and called at a police station - and they drove her home to Trevor - and her five year old son David.
