Lucky escape from serious injury.: Lady Montague of Beauli traveled to the Chelsea Town Hall this afternoon aboard an ancient horse drawn fire engines to take part in the opening of the 9th. On arriving at the Town Hall - the driver jumped down from the seat - and then the horse bloated - hauling the fire engine, with Lady Montague still aboard - some hundred of yards along the road - before it was get under control. Lady Montague was badly shaken. Lord Montague chased the runaway horse - in the veteran car that he was driving to the Fair.
