May 08, 1960 - Prussian princess Kira marries Americanm archaeologist in Bavaria: On Sept. 11, 1973 the christain wedding of princess Kira of Hohenzollern (30) to American Thomas Liepsner (28) took place in a small Bavarian town, Felizenzell near Buchbach/Mihldorf. The charming princess was the last single daughter of prince Louis Ferdinand, head of the house of Hohenzollern. She is a great grandchild of German emperor Wilhelm II. Her prince consort is the son of an American manufacturer from Kansas City. Bride and groom have met 5 years ago for the first time, while attending a wedding in Madrid. They were both students at the University of Erlangen, where princess Kira studied Spanish and Russian, and Mr.Liepsner archaeology.
