Jun. 06, 1961 - Sale of Old Masters At Sotheey's Goya Painting Fetches140, 000; Important Old Masters were on sale yesterday at Sotheby's and among them was a portrait of the Duke of Wellinton by Goya, owned by the Duke of Leeds. The famous painting was knocked down for140, 000 to Texan oil tycoon, Mr. Charles Wrightsman, who already owns paintings by Vermeer, El Greco and Tiepolo.
