Jul. 07, 1965 - Millionaire Playboy, Porfirio Rubirosa Killed In Car Crash In Paris. The millionaire playboy and ex-Dominican diplomat, Porfirio Rubirosa, was killed in a car crash in the Bois de Boulogne, Paris. Police said his Ferrari left the road and crashed into a tree after being in collision with another car. Rubirosa, 55, was formerly married to Doris Duke, Barbara Hutton, the U.S. heiresses, Danielle Darrieux, the French actress, and Flor de Oro Trujillo, daughter of the late Dominican dictator.
