Nov. 11, 1965 - Already when she was a girl.... the 75 years old Princess Pilar of Bavaria sold herself to the art. The first painting what she shows her family pleased very well so it was resolved that the talented young Princess shall get painting lessons. Later she was teached by the famous Munich painters Hans von Bartels and Willy Geiger. Some years ago the painting Princess removed from the large Castle Nymphenburg to a villa. One year ago she was invented to an exhibition where her oil-paintings, water colours and her charcoal drawings were displayed and sold. Landscapes and still-lifes are the specially favoured motives of the royal artist. Our picture shows: Princess Pilar of Bavaria in her studio in Munich
