1968 - Sir Paul and Lady Gore Booth fly to Switzerland to join Sherlock Holmes Society members.: Wearing the costumes of the period. Sir Paul and Lady Gore-Booth, today left London Airport to join the members of the Sherlock Holmes Society of London, for the eight-day tour of Switzerland which will take them to many places visited by the famous detective in Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's stories. the trip has been organised by the Society together with the Swiss nAtional Tourist Office. Sir Paul will play Sherlock Holmes at the Reichenbach falls, the tour's highlight. Mr. A.D. Howlett, a barrister and prominent member of the Sherlock Holmes society, will take the part of the detective for the remaining period. Lady Patricia Gora-Booth will play Irene Adler, Sir Paul Gore-Booth is hand of Britain;s Diplomatic Service.
