Heirs - Heiress - Royalty - Socialites

Jul. 07, 1970 - Thurn and Taxis affair - second round: As has been reported the marriage of Prince Max-Emanuel of Thurn and Taxis and Countess Anna Maria von Pocci has been annulled a good week ago. The Countess had left her husband for the inn-keeper Walter Stanner. After the final decree of the annulment the two parties gave a press-conference: the house of Thurn and Taxis in the elegant Munich hotel Bayerischer Hof, the friends of Countess von Pocci in a Munich beer-garden. Even though an injunction of 100, 000 D-marks had obliged both sides to not making public any private details, the various opposite hints were given as to the reason of Anna Maria's leaving her husband. While Anna Maria intends to marry Walter Stanner in September and then help him in his restaurant, Prince Max-Emanuel has been reported as having said about any marriage plans: I've had it for a while!
