Nov. 11, 1971 - The Grand Duke and the Grand Duchess of Luxemburg on an official visit to the Olympic building site in Munich: Following a personal invitation by Herr Willi Daum, President of the Olympic Committee, Grand Duke Jean and Grand Duchess Charlotte of Luxemburg arrived in the Bavarian capital to take a look at the progress on the construction site. The Grand Duke has himself been a member of the International Olympic Committee since 1946. Even the aristocratic status of the visitors did not exempt them from wearing the compulsory safety helmet
