Jul. 07, 1970 - New Toy Museum opened at Stately Home.: Dr. Clifford Murgrave, distinguished author of the much reviewed current best seller Life in Brighton, today opened a new-purpose-designed Toy Museum at Penshurst Place, near Tonbridge Kent (Stately home of Viscount De L'Isle, V.C.K.G.). The toys in the Museum are in the main from the enchanting, diverse and valuable personal collection of stage designer, artist and toymaker, Miss Yootha Rose, who is the Curaterof the National Toy Museum at Rottingdean near Brighton.
