Sep. 09, 1973 - Prussian princess Kira marries American archaeologist in Bavaria: On Sept. 11, 1973 the christian wedding of Princess Kira of Hohenzollern (30) to American Thomas Liepsner (28) took place in the small village Felizenzell near Buchbach/Muhldorf. The charming princess was the last single daughter of prince Louis Ferdinand, head of the house of Hohenzollern. She is a great grandchild of German emperor Wilhelm II. Her prince consort is the son of an American manufacturer from Kansas City.
