Nov. 11, 1976 - Two Miss World Contestants are Withdrawn from the Contest. Swaziland and Mauritius have each withdrawn their girl from next Thursday Miss World contest in protest at South Africa's involvement in the competition. The announcement was made by Mrs. Julia Morley, the contest organiser, yesterday, after receiving letters from both governments.
