Mar. 03, 1960 - Gauguin exhibition in Munich: In the Munich house of Arts, the so far most comprehensive exhibition of the works by Paul Gauguin is shown from April 1st till May 29th. One of the first to visit the exhibition was, already on the day before the official opening, cosmetics queen Helena Rubinstein of Paris. Madame Rubinstein came to Munich to make her declaration about the donation she made for young German painters. This donation is a competition that will be held in 1960 for young artists.
