Jun. 06, 1960 - Former President of the Federal Republic in Berlin: Former President Prof. Theodor Heuss arrived in Berlin (15.6.60) for a five-day visit. He will inaugurate the Congress for Cultural Freedom on 16.6.60 in the Congress Hall. Over 200 scholars, statesmen and artists from 50 countries will take part. Prof. Heuss was welcomed by the Governing Mayor Willy Brandt, the president of the deputy-house Willy Henneberg and the Russian-American composer Prof. Nicolas Nabokov.
