1976 - Dr. Kissinger flies in for breakfast talks before continuing his tour of seven African capitals: Dr. Kissinger, the U.S. Secretary of State, after a brief stop in London this weekend, met Mr Anthony Crosland, Britain's new Foreign Secretary, for talks over a working breakfast at an RAF Officers Mess at RAF Waddington, Lincolnhire. Within two hours Dr. Kissinger was airborne again flying off to Nairobi for the start of a two-week tour of seven African capitals aimed at averting a full scale war in Rhodeia.
