Apr. 17 US Foreign Minister Kissinger Visited his Native Town Furth: US Foreign Minister henry Kissinger paid a short visit to his home town Furth (Bavaria), where he received the golden civic medal, because of his passionate efforts for peace'/ The minister, who was accompanied by his wife and his parents Louis and Paula Kissinger, was rewarded this medal already two years ago, but had not found the time to come to Furth before. Henry Kissinger was born in Furth (near Nuremberg) in 1923 and had to emigrate with his parents at the age of 14 because of Nazi pursuit. Photo shows Henry Kissinger and his parents, Paula and Louis Kissinger as well as West-German Foreign Minister Hans-Dietrich Genscher in front of the town hall of Furth
