: Henry Moore, sculptor, photographing his own work

Henry Moore, sculptor, photographing his own work

Feb. 29 Sculptor Henry Moore is caught snapping: Our photographer went to see famous sculptor, Henry Moore at his studio at Perry Green, near Bishops Stortford to photograph some of his latest works, but when he got there he found the famous man was doing just that himself. Henry Moore is a keen amateur photographer and he keeps a photographic record of all his works which he takes himself. It was not until he finally emerged from beneath the black cloth that he spotted the photographer who, in the meantime had been busy with his own camera as these pictures show. Photo shows this is how the photographer found Henry Moore when he arrived at the Studio. Looking rather like a monk with a cowl over his head, he's studying his subject before taking a picture
