Henry Moore with sculptures, exhibition in Munich

Oct. 01, 1971 - OCTOBER 1ST TILL NOVEMBER 21ST EXHIBITION HENRY MOORE 1961/71 IN MUNICH (WEST-GERMANY)... Henry Moore 1961/71'....is the title of the exhibition, which is shown after October 1st by the new Pinakothek of the Bavarian Painting collections in the Munich House of Arts. As the title says, works by the famous English sculptor Henry Moore, which have been put together by himself, of the last 10-12 years are shown. Altogether there are 42 sculptures and more than 100 drawings and sketches, as well as the series of etchings (1969/70) on the theme Elephant Skull'. The exhibition is open till November 21st. Ops.: Henry Moore, who came to Munich for the exhibition, in front of his 6 yards high sculpture Large Arch (1963/69). The giant sculptures are in front of the House of Arts (In the background is the Army-Museum)
