Hermann Goering visits home front, Berlin, WW2

Nov. 11, 1940 - No Enemy Plane Would Bomb US - Goering. Berlin Now The Most Bombed City In The World. The biggest ever air offensive over Germany is making the Nazis shake in their boots. Goering's famous boast that no enemy plane would ever fly over Berlin, is never mentioned now, as the powerful attacks by the RAF have made the Reich's capital the most-bombed in the world. Keystone Photo Shows:- Hermann Goering visiting a flak-battery on the home front. He is apparently giving new instructions to the men of this anti-aircraft unit. Nobody in the picture seems very pleased about the incident
