Hermine Ryan on trial for war crimes in Dusseldorf

Trial in Dusseldorf against former Commanders of Concentration Camp Lublin-Majdanek: On November 26th 1975, the trial against 14 former members of the command of the Concentration camp Imblin-Majdanek (Poland) was started. The Defendants, five of them women, are accused of murdering about 250, 000 mostly Jewish prisoners of the camp. The trial will take about two years. She had been a head guard at the concentration camp and has been living in the United States, from where she was extradited to West German authorities
