High pylon sculpture by M Katz, Dusseldorf, Germany

May 05, 1962 - Like two legs sticking into the air looks this new 36 meters high pylon which has been erected in Dusseldorf as new symbol on front of the exhibition and congress hall. The construction covered with refined steel was made according to a design by sculptor M. Katz of Dusseldorf and cost 320 000 D-Marks. It is meant as accent to the plain facade of the exhibition hall. In the surroundings. But that may also be applied to the price: the hall cost also the small sum of 30 million D-Marks
