HMS Centaur and HMS Albion

Feb. 26 Angles, Curves and Mirrors. Two of the British Navy's newest carriers are H.M.S. Albion and H.M.S. Centaur. Both are equipped with the latest in flattops - angled decks and a mirror landing aid to replace the familiar batsman. They were seen together at ceremonies marking the departure of Admiral the Earl of Mountbatten from his post as Allied Commander-in-Chief, Mediterranean.
