HMS Tenby on Families Day, Dartmouth Training Squadron

Jul. 07, 1967 - Families Day for Dartmouth Training Squadron: Today was Families day on board the ships of the Dartmouth Training Squadron, HMS Scarborough, Tenby and Torquay. Wives home from their summer cruise to Canada. Wives and children were taken by boat out to Spithead to meet the ships and went aboard and were taken for a short passage in the channel. During this time they saw Cadets and Ships Company exercising Replenishment by Sea by Jacksaty and training in sea boats. After lunching on board guests witnessed the entry of the squadron into Portsmouth harbour.
