Hoecker and Mulka sentenced for war crimes, Frankfurt
Aug. 08, 1965 - Auschwitz Guards Sentenced To Hard Labour in Frankfurt Trial: Six guards at the Auschwitz concentration camp run by the Nazis were sentenced today to hard labour for their share in what the prosecution called the greatest crime in history'. The sentences ended a 20-month trial which ended in Frankfurt today. About 4, 000, 000 people mostly Jews, died in the Auschwitz murder factory'. Photo shows Two former camp adjutants Lt. R.
