Jun. 06, 1966 - Home Secretary Visits Escape Jail: The cell from which six prisoners escaped at Wormwood Scrubs prison on Monday was yesterday inspected by the Home Secretary, Mr. Roy Jenkins, During his one=hour visit to the jail, the Home Secretary paid special attention to security and spoke to the Governor and Principal officers.
