Feb. 29 British-Made Kitchens In The London Hilton Hotel: Under what is believed to be the largest order of its type for any hotel in Britain, Allies Ironfounders Ltd have manufactured and installed kitchen equipment for the London Hilton Hotel. Built to Hilton Hotels International specifications, the units are in stainless steel with all welded tubular frames. The equipment was supplied for the Main, Banqueting and Grill kitchens, the Trader Vic's Restaurant, Roof Restaurant, Employees Cafeteria, bars and bulk preparation and pantry areas. Manufacture was at the Falkirk and Sheffield works of Allied Ironfounders. Photo shows Baker's table manufactured in stainless steel by Allied Ironfounders Ltd with 20 overhead spice bins, in the baker's shop (part of the 3rd floor bulk preparation and pantry area)
